The research design is Case Study. Participants are 48 hearing-impaired university students studying in the SfH in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Research data consists of video recordings of lectures, lesson plans and evaluations, students' homework and the feedback given, e-mails, WhatsApp messages, researcher diary, monitoring meeting minutes, student audiograms and documents. The effectiveness of the lectures was found to be limited because the student skills which could be supported were restricted and the lectures were carried out by direct instruction in the distance education process. It was determined that the level of knowing and using the distance education system of students and instructors was used in distance education system affected the quality of education, and the limitations in the language skills of the hearing-impaired students have negatively reflected in the education process. It was also found that the students experienced concerns about academic success and the COVID-19 pandemic process. Participants had limitations in their literacy skills.
