Social studies is a course which terrains citizenship education and social change in a society. Individuals learn to comply with social rules and join to social life through social studies. Social studies course is all about life. So that teachers need to do activities which bring the outside world into the classroom. Child to child is one of the approaches which provides teaching and learning activities to be continued out of school and changes the other person's attitudes. Child to child is an approach which children actively take part in teaching and learning process and apply the information to the real life. In this study activities are presented to apply this approach in social studies course in primary education, 4th grade elementary students. In this study activities are aimed to gain acquisitions of 4th grade social studies course to students within the context of 'Person and Society' and 'Self Identity' units. The activities were applied with the stages which are child to child approach's stages such as understanding, learning, planning, appliyng, assessing and expanding. There are three activity plans, some of applied examples, student's anecdotal notes and teacher's views in this study. It can be said that to answer expectations effective and planned child to child approach can be used in social studies course.
