Özet:
| Fantastik ve sanat iç içe kavramlardır. Figürler de sanat alanında yaygın bir kullanıma sahiptir. Bir eserin yapılışında ve algılanmasında hayal gücü devrededir. Fantastik figürlerde ise hayal gücünün etkisi daha üst seviyelere çıkmaktadır. Fantastik, bir durum, his ve düşünce olarak da varlık gösterebilen bir kavramdır. Sanat çalışmalarının yapılışında ve algılanışında fantastik his, düşünme ve algı da devrededir. Bunun yanında belirsizlik, korku, kaçış, özgürlük, iyileşme ve özdeşleşme gibi diğer kavramlarla da bağ halindedir. Fantastik figürler mitler, tarihi ve kültürel olaylarla da ilişki içerisinde olmuş ve kültürlerde kendilerine yer edinmiştir. Bilinmezlik ve belirsizlikler fantastik figürlerle açıklanmıştır. Bunun yanında bilimsel veriler de fantastik figür yaratımında kendine yer bulmaktadır. Bilinene karşıtlıklar, bilinenlerin üstüne ve dışına dair kurulan hayaller fantastik figür yaratımında kullanılmaktadır. Fantastik en geniş anlamıyla tüm sanat çalışmalarıyla ilişki içerisindedir. Fantastik figürler de sanat alanında geniş bir kullanım alanına sahiptirler. Duygu, düşünce ve hayallerin aktarım araçlarındandır. Normal olandan uzaklıklarıyla ilgi çekicidirler. Eğlence alanı da fantastik figür üretimi açısından zengindir ve fantastik yapımlar büyük ilgi görmektedir. Seramik alanında fantastik, yaygın kullanıma sahip bir tanım değildir. Ama fantastiğin anlam kapsamı içerisinde ele alınabilecek sayısız eser vardır. Tarihi seramiklerden çağdaş eserlere kadar fantastik figür içeren pek çok çalışma bulunmaktadır. Fantastic in its broadest sense relates to all works of art. Fantastic figures also have a wide area of use in the field of art. It is a means of transmission of feelings, thoughts and dreams. Their distance from the normal makes them interesting. The entertainment area is also rich in fantastic figure production and fantastic productions attract great attention. Fantastic is not a widely used definition in the field of ceramics. But there are innumerable works that can be considered within the scope of the meaning of fantastic. There are many works that contain fantastic figures, from historical ceramics to contemporary works.
