Biyografi
Anadolu Üniversitesi Eczacılık Fakültesinden 1992 yılında Eczacı unvanı ile mezun oldu. Aynı yıl Anadolu Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Farmakognozi Anabilim Dalında Yüksek Lisans programına başladı ve Araştırma Görevlisi olarak göreve atandı. 1993 yılında YÖK bursu ile İngiltere Norwich’de, University of East Anglia, School of Chemical Sciences’da Sentetik Organik Kimya Dalında Yüksek Lisans yapmak üzere görevlendirildi. Nisan 1995’de tamamladığı “Studies Towards The Synthesis of Phosphatidylcholine Analogues” adlı tezinde AIDS'e karşı etkili ilaç etken maddeleri ve türevlerinin sentezi üzerinde çalıştı. Ekim, 1997'de TWAS (Third World Academy of Sciences) 3 aylık bir “araştırma bursu” ile Karaçi Üniversitesinde HEJ Kimya Bilimleri Araştırma Merkezinde ortak çalışmalar gerçekleştirdi. 1999 Haziranında kısa süreli TÜBİTAK-NATO araştırma bursuyla Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, Oxford Mississippi Üniversitesi, Eczacılık Fakültesi, Farmakognozi Anabilim Dalında biyotransformasyon ve deniz ürünleri farmakognozisi alanlarında çalışmalarda bulundu. 2000 Yılında “Biyoaktif Monoterpenlerin Biyotransformasyonu” adlı doktora tezini tamamladı, 2001 yılında Farmakognozi AbD’na Y.Doç.Dr. unvanı ile öğretim üyesi olarak Anadolu Üniversitesi, Eczacılık Fakültesindeki görevine atandı, 2001-2003’de Almanya Regensburg Üniversitesinde Farmasötik Biyoloji Kürsüsünde doktora sonrası eğitim ve bitkisel ilaç araştırmalarda bulundu. 2004-2005’de T. C. M.S.B. Ordu İlaç Fabrikasında vatani hizmetini tamamladı. 2005 yılında Doçent, 2010 yılında ise Profesör unvanı ile görevlerini sürdürdü. Muhtelif idari ve akademik görevlerde ve kurullarda bulundu, 2013’de Anadolu Üniversitesi, Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Müdürlüğü, 2014-2017'de ise Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Dekanlığı yaptı. 2012 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi "Bilim ve Teknoloji", 2022 yılında ise Türkiye Eczacılar Birliği Eczacılık Akademisi "Bilim Ödülü"ne layık görülmüştür.
