Biography
Hale Duru Basmacioglu, was born in 1973, in Ankara, Turkey. After graduating from Hacettepe University State Conservatory she was accepted as a violin professor by Anadolu University State Conservatory.
She earned master's and doctoral degrees in classical violin from this
institute, then completed baroque violin and early music studies in the
specialization program at Strasbourg Conservatory, France. Hale Duru Basmacioglu has been working as a professor at Anadolu University State Conservatory,
where she teaches classical violin, baroque violin and chamber music,
since 1994. Between 2016-2018 she executed "Music at the Museum" concert
series at Anadolu University Museum of Modern Arts and the music events at the Research Centre for the Turkish World. Basmacioglu has been organizing the concerts at Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Fairytale Castle since 2022.
