Dr. Ilker Kayabas graduated from Anadolu University Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department in 2004. Between 2004 and 2015, he served as the Assistant Director at the Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Learning Technologies Research and Development Unit. He completed his master's degree in 2010 and his doctorate in 2017 at the Anadolu University Distance Education Department. In the same department, he was appointed as a research assistant in 2011 and as a Asst. Prof. in 2019.
He designed and developed web applications, learning management systems, interactive e-course software, e-exam interfaces, and e-portfolio applications for various organizations, including Anadolu University, Ford Otosan, the Ministry of National Education of Turkey, the Ministry of Health of Turkey, and the Turkey Internet Association.
In 2017, he founded the My Work Passport (İş Pasaportum) and in 2019, the UTEx e-learning initiatives.
His research interests are artificial intelligence, e-learning experience design, learning analytics, gamification, ux/ui design, full-stack web development, mobile development. He currently focuses projects in context of ai powered learning technologies.
