Associate Professor Dr. Kevser Tetik was born on January 9, 1986, in Osmaneli, a district of Bilecik, Turkey. She completed her primary and secondary education in Bilecik and her high school education in Kocaeli. She earned her bachelor's degree (2005–2010) and master's degree (2010–2012) from the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Istanbul University. Subsequently, she pursued her doctoral studies (2013–2017) at Lomonosov Moscow State University in the Department of Modern Russian Literature History and Contemporary Literary Processes (Кафедра истории новейшей русской литературы и современного литературного процесса). Her master’s thesis focused on “Symbolism in Russian Literature and the Poetic Art of Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov,” while her doctoral dissertation explored “Urban Poetry of K. D. Balmont and V. Ya. Bryusov” (Урбанистическая поэзия К. Д. Бальмонта и В. Я. Брюсова). Since 2012, Dr. Tetik has been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Anadolu University. Her research primarily centers on Russian modernism and 20th-century Russian literature. Additionally, she has conducted scholarly studies in the fields of Old Russian literature, 19th-century Russian literature, contemporary Russian literature, and cultural linguistics.
