B. erecta was collected in June, 2014 from Konya province. The chemical composition of essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation from the dried aerial parts of B. erecta was analysed by GC-FID and GC-MS. Thirty-five compounds, constituting about 79.4% of the total oil, were identified. The major components were found as hexahydrofarnesyl acetone (14.1%) and α-bisabolol oxide A (12.8%).
