Özet

Dexketoprofen trometamol is an S-(+)-2-(3-benzoylphenyl) propionic acidtromethamine salt. It is more potent and causes less gastrointestinal adverse effects when compared to ketoprofen. It was found to be highly effective in the treatment of moderate to severe pain when used as an analgesic in osteoarthritis, dysmenorrhea, orthopedics and dental surgery. Preparing and characterizing solid lipid nanoparticles for oral controlled analgesic effect was aimed in this study. Dexketoprofen tromethamol-loaded SLNs were prepared by hot homogenization method followed by probe ultrasonication and characterization was achieved by particle size/PDI and zeta potential measurements, DCS thermograms, SEM imaging and FT-IR and NMR spectroscopic analyses.
