Asst. Prof. YAPRAK ALAGÖZ HAMZAJ

Biography

Yaprak Alagöz-Hamzaj completed her undergraduate education in the English Language Teaching program at Uludağ University in 2013. During the fall semester of 2012-2013, she studied at Københavns Professions Højskole in Copenhagen, one of Denmark's leading teacher training schools, through the Erasmus exchange program. She earned her master's degree in 2017 and her PhD in 2022 in Curriculum and Instruction from Anadolu University's Department of Educational Sciences. In the 2013-2014 academic year, she worked as a teacher at a primary and secondary school in Düzce and also taught private language courses from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Alagöz-Hamzaj began working as a research assistant at Anadolu University's Department of Educational Sciences. Since 2022, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the same department. Her research interests include teacher training, professional development, adult learners, higher education, gamification in education, educational technologies and AI.
