Among the visible changes frequently seen in aged skin are roughness in skin surface, widening of pores, sagging with wrinkling, excess skin on eye lids, downward Mouth, double chin, color changes such as paling, darkening and brown spots and telangiectacy, or "broken vens". As a result of recent research, changes in cell nucleus were suggested to the reason for variations in skin. It was suggested that the purpose of antiaging products should be to stop the increase in aberrant cells. Antiaging activity can be obtained by therapy and antiinflammation is another opinion. Firming, reduction in age spots, enhancement in radiance, renewal in cells, maintaining transparent, young and natural look, improvement in inherent beauty of skin and hiding all defaults, such as wrinkles, fine lines, dischromas will thus be possible. Vitamins, essential fatty acids and antioxidants were utilized for years conventionally for prevention from skin aging. Recently, Human Growth Hormone (HGH) for reversing aging process, sirtuins which are key regulators in cell defense, provide cell longevity and DNA repair and next generation cosmeceutical materials are among the novel approaches in skit) antiaging.
