Abstract

Satureja pilosa and S. icarica have recently been proven by us to be new records for the flora of Turkey. The essential oils of these species have been analyzed by GC/MS. Carvacrol (53.5% and 52–56%, respectively) was found as the major component of these oils. © 1998, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
