Özet

Art tended towards constant innovation and change with the collapse of tradition with modernism, and towards growth, derivation and therefore reproduction with the technology. Modern technology, after its development as a mechanical production power exceeding well above the human force, provides various possibilities for artistic production like any other areas. This tight link and relation between technology and art pushed all plastic arts towards a fundamental change. The close relation between the art of ceramics as a branch of plastic arts and the technology and daily utility objects a product of technology is remarkable. The art of ceramics, when compared to all other arts, has just been able to solve the contextual and aesthetical transformation against the developing technology. The art of ceramics in our age establishes an aesthetical connection with technology and its combination with thinking and concept puts forward a new manner.
