Abstract

The essential oil of Sideritis hispida P. H. Davis, an endemic species of Turkey, was studied by GC and GC/MS. Sixty-three compounds were identified. β-Caryophyllene (10.92%) and carvacrol (8.50%) were found to be the major components. © 1994 Allured Publishing Corp.
