Abstract

Water distilled essential oils from two subspecies of Sideritis germanicopolitana Bornm.; subsp. germanicopolitana and subsp. viridis Hausskn. et Bornm., (endemic to Turkey) were examined by GC/MS. Both subspecies were found to possess 0.33% oil in which the main component was myrcene (38.94–49.22%). © 1992 Allured Publishing Corp.
