Review of the Articles Related with Early Childhood Special Education in Turkey

Özet

The purpose of this article is to review articles pubisled in last 20 years and related to early childhood special education in Turkey. For this purpose, 55 articles related to children with developmental/delays and their families and related services in early childhood were reached and reviewed: Articles were divided into four sections and per section was reviewed individually. In each article, the purpose, participants, context and data collection tools, procedures, research design, treatment fidelity, inter-coder/coder/rater reliability, social validity and results were reviewed. It was found that out of 55 articles, 20 were related to teaching skils, 15 were on inclusion, 14 were regarding families, 6 were with comparison of children with normal development with children with developmental delays/disabilities.
