Abstract

In this study, needles and bark of the Anatolian Black Pine (Pinus nigra ssp. pallasiana) were used as a bioindicator to determine the traffic originated heavy metal (cadmium) pollution on the forests beside the main roads at the Middle West Anatolia gate zone. Twenty four sampling areas were chosen on the roads which are connecting provinces and towns of Eskisehir to each other.
