This essay deals with the novel "Shiva Moon-Eine indische Reise" of the German writer Helge Timmerberg and with the documentary novel "Standort Bananenrepublik-Streifzuge durch die postkoloniale Welt" of the German writer Hans Christopf Buch. The author Timmerberg was living in India and the author Buch took some journeys to all postcolonial countries and cities including Africa, Haiti and America. The texts which I want to analyze are related to the postcolonial German literature. In the texts I want to try to investigate the problem of the aliens and is new reading as a new problem of the postcolonial world and postcolonial German literature, it is my first purpose. My other purpose in this essay is to compare the texts related to this problem, because the German authors have begun in our time to write about this postcolonial world and countries like India, Haiti and other countries in the world.
