All rights reserved.In the present study 15 novel triazole compounds were synthesized in order to investigate their anticandidal and anticholinesterase activities. Structures of the synthesized compounds were elucidated by spectral data and elemental analyses. Anticandidal activity tests were performed against four different fungal strains. Compounds 4j, 4k, and 4l displayed moderate anticandidal activity against Candida glabrata (ATCC 90030) and Candida albicans (ATCC 10231). Anticholinesterase activity of the synthesized compounds against acetylcholinesterase (AChE) was also studied. However synthesized compounds did not indicate important enzyme inhibition.
