Abstract
The composition of the water-distilled essential oil of Marrubium bourgaei Boiss. ssp. caricum P.H. Davis (endemic) (Labiatae) was analyzed by GC/MS. Forty-six compounds were identified representing 91.3% of the total oil. beta-Caryophyllene (23.2%), (Z)-beta-farnesene (13.5%) and germacrene D (10.3%) were the main constituents.
