Çalışma, çukur baskı tekniğinin tarihsel gelişimini, sanatsal ve teknolojik dönüşümlerini ele alarak, geleneksel yöntemlerden dijital çağın modern tekniklerine uzanan kapsamlı bir inceleme sunmaktadır. Çukur baskının ortaya çıkışından günümüze kadar geçirdiği evrim, sanatsal ifade, teknik yenilik ve endüstriyel üretim bağlamında ele alınmıştır.
Baskıresim sanatının bir parçası olarak çukur baskı, başlangıçta el işçiliğine dayalı bir sanatsal üretim aracı iken, Sanayi Devrimi ve teknolojik ilerlemelerle seri üretim süreçlerinin önemli bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Geleneksel ahşap ve metal kalıp teknikleri, zaman içinde yerini elektromekanik gravür ve lazer işleme gibi dijital teknolojilere bırakmıştır. Bu dönüşüm, çukur baskının hem sanatsal özgünlüğünü korumasına hem de endüstriyel ihtiyaçlara cevap verebilecek şekilde genişlemesine olanak sağlamıştır.
Çalışma, çukur baskının ekonomik, kültürel ve politik etkilerine de değinerek, bu tekniklerin sadece sanatsal bir araç değil, aynı zamanda toplumsal iletişimde güçlü bir dil olarak nasıl kullanıldığını ortaya koymaktadır. Geleneksel tekniklerin estetik değerleri, dijital çağın sunduğu yeniliklerle harmanlanarak, çukur baskının bugün hâlâ dinamik ve güçlü bir ifade biçimi olarak varlığını sürdürdüğü vurgulanmıştır.
Sonuç olarak, çalışma çukur baskının teknik ve sanatsal zenginliğini tarihsel bir perspektifle ele alarak, bu sanat formunun geçmişten günümüze uzanan çok katmanlı yapısını detaylı bir şekilde ortaya koymaktadır.
The study examines the historical development of the intaglio technique, its artistic and technological transformations, and offers a comprehensive review extending from traditional methods to the modern techniques of the digital age. The evolution of intaglio from its emergence to the present day is discussed in the context of artistic expression, technical innovation and industrial production.
As a part of the art of printmaking, intaglio printing was initially a means of artistic production based on handicraft, but with the Industrial Revolution and technological advances, it became an important part of mass production processes. Traditional wood and metal mold techniques have given way to digital technologies such as electromechanical engraving and laser processing over time. This transformation has allowed intaglio printing to both preserve its artistic originality and expand to meet industrial needs.
The study also touches on the economic, cultural and political effects of intaglio printing, revealing how these techniques are used not only as an artistic tool but also as a powerful language in social communication. It is emphasized that intaglio printing continues to exist as a dynamic and powerful form of expression today, by blending the aesthetic values of traditional techniques with the innovations offered by the digital age.
As a result, the study examines the technical and artistic richness of intaglio printing from a historical perspective, revealing in detail the multi-layered structure of this art form from the past to the present.
