The education of gifted students, who are seen as the leaders of the future in various fields, is essential for the future of countries and also for the world as a whole. In this case study, a WebQuest activity was designed and implemented for the learning domain of "global connections" to engage gifted students in the social studies course effectively and to support the development of their higher-order thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to describe this WebQuest activity and investigate it from the perspectives of the participant gifted students. The study followed a holistic single-case design based on a qualitative research approach and was conducted with twelve volunteer fourth-grade gifted students from a Science and Art Centre in T & uuml;rkiye. Data for this study was collected through different methods which included a diagnostic form, focus group interviews, students' reflective diaries, researcher diaries, and documentation of the activities and products within the Web environment. According to the findings, it was determined that the gifted students who participated in the WebQuest activity enjoyed the process, experienced the advantages and difficulties of the collaborative work process, performed the requirements of the tasks that asked for higher-order thinking skills, and achieved the outcomes related to the objectives of the activity.
