Abstract

Composition of essential oil of Achillea goniocephala Boiss from Turkey was estimated. Gas chromatography (GS) and mass spectrometry (MS) was used to analyze the water-distilled essential oils of the dried flowering herbal parts. Clevenger-type apparatus was used for the hydrodistillation of dried flowering plants for 3 h to yield an 0.4% of oil.
