Abstract

A water-distilled oil obtained from the fruits of Heracleum argaeum, a Turkish endemic species, was examined by GC/MS. Sixty nine components were characterized representing 96.4% of the oil, with hexyl butyrate (39.1%) as the major constituent. © 1998, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
