Recently there have beeen increased number of studies on the white–light emitting phosphorescent pigments which absorb light at certain wavelenght (visible or ulra violet UV) and emit phosphoresce for some time at the dark when the light source is removed. Hereby, a general review on the systems, production methods and application fields of this type of pigments is presented.
