Özet

The aim of this research is to examine Kutahya ceramics in terms of form, technique, decoration and variety to compare them with Spanish ceramics of Talavera de la Reina especially produced in Cooperativa Ceramicas el Carmen Workshop in order to have a better understanding of them. In line with this, the traditional cini products selected from the city Kutahya have been analyzed to understand different techniques; classify them according to region and period; and define general properties developed in these two different regions as well as to identify their current situation. Unique forms and decoration techniques from two different regions have been analyzed considering the social values, culture, education, customs and daily life routines of these two regions. Kutahya cini wares and Talavera ceramics are also evaluated in terms of cultural properties.
