In this work, samples were taken from Koyunagili Lignites Company Washing Plant feed and were subjected to extensive research to determine the floatability of lignite fines. The optimum conditions of flotation were determined under the laboratory conditions by using a laboratory type Denver flotation cell. In the flotation experiments particle size distribution, collector type and amount and dispersant amount were tested as variables. After flotation experiments, at optimum conditions, 53.91 % of the sample was floated with 29.54 % ash content.
