Özet

Forensic science uses white methods of analysis based on analytical chemistry to provide an effective reproducible data that would be valuable during investigations of crimes, such techniques are chromatography, spectroscopy, and electrophoresis, which are necessary in the process of identification of traces of drugs, explosives, toxins, and biological samples. Gas chromatography (GC) is especially convenient in the separation of volatile compounds, whereas mass spectrometry (MS) is helpful in the determination of the molecular structure of substances. The liquid chromatography (LC) is used on non-volatile compounds such as pharmaceuticals. White analysis also contributes to forensic toxicology, in which biological specimens (blood and urine), are analyzed to identify toxins or drugs. These techniques, when integrated enable forensic scientists to create profiles which implicate suspects into crime scenes or victims. Forensic science is in the process of constant development and these sophisticated methods of chemical collections make sure that correct evidence that is admissible in court is collected. The fast emergence of mobile analytical tools has also increased the forensic capabilities. These methods are of significance because they are objective and they assist in administering justice using scientifically sound evidence.
