Natural disasters can have a profound impact on individuals’ mental health, particularly during developmental stages, with long-term effects. This qualitative study, which is part of the ‘Coping with Earthquakes with Children’ programme based on the ‘Sphere Model of Consciousness’, aims to assess the challenges and resources perceived following an earthquake. The survey involved 28 adult caregivers of school-age children (25 women; mean age = 39.85 years, SD = 8.08). Qualitative analysis highlights the need to improve adults’ internal awareness and communication skills, and to restore an optimal daily routine, to bring significant benefits to both adults and children.
