Abstract

A water distilled oil from the aerial parts of Achillea sieheana Stapf(Compositae), an endemic species in Turkey, Was analyzed by GC/MS. Enantiomerically pure (1S)(-)-camphor (39.9%) was identified as a main constituent in the oil using a multidimensional GC/MS system..
