Bu çalışma, esas olarak, indirgemeci yaklaşımlara eleştirel bir bakışla modern devlet ve kapitalizm ilişkisine odaklanmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, öncelikle genel olarak, toplumsal olguların açıklanışında ve tarihin ilerleyişinde ekonomi ve siyaset gibi iki temel değişkenin süreçleri belirleme gücü ve karşılıklı etkileşimleri incelenmekte, bu hususta modern öncesi dönemle modernite koşullarının taşıdığı farklar gösterilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Buradan varılan sonuçlar ile somut tarihsel gelişimleri ışığında modern devlet ve kapitalizmin etkileşim süreçleri ve bu etkileşimin mahiyeti tahlil edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
This study mainly focuses on the relationship between the modern state and capitalism through a critical view to the reductionist approaches. In this regard, first, in general, the power of politics and economy to determine the processes in terms of explaining social facts and development of history as well as their interactions are examined and in this respect the differences between pre-modern and modern eras are demonstrated. In the light of the concrete historical development and the conclusions of this debate, the interaction processes of the modern state and capitalism and the content of this interaction are analyzed.
