Beethoven is one the staggering figures in the western music history. He subverted all the forms belong to the past with his avant-garde expression, opened the doors to romanticism, and became an important reference point for the all composers in the 19th century. Beethoven, caused a serious breaking point in the music history with his orchestral, piano solo and chamber music works, had a transformative role as dominating the future of the art of music. His 32 sonatas and 5 concertos for piano became the essential pieces for pianists, among the most important works of the music history. He achieved an extraordinary integrity through building a symphonic relationship between orchestra and piano, developed a new and distinctive way to express by breaking the traditional manners of telling one by one since his "1st Piano Concerto". Beethoven's "5th Piano Concerto" is one of the peak points of this kind of expression. This work has been one of the most affected piano concerto for the 19th century piano school for its technical and expressive perspective. In none of the earlier piano concertos of Beethoven, the technical limitations of the piano was ever used as extensively as seen in the 5th piano concerto. This piece captured all the attention and the influence of the romantic composers at his time.
