Abstract

Water-distilled oil from dried leaves of Origanum floribunduman was analyzed by GC/MS. Seventy compounds representing 99.3%, of the oil were characterized with carvacrol (40%), linalool(16.1%), p-cymene (12.4%,) and gamma -terpinene (12.2%,) as main constituents.
