Abstract

Water-distilled essential oil from the aerial parts of Senecio farfarifolius Boiss. et Kotschy, endemic in Turkey, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Eighty-seven components were characterized representing 95% of the compounds with alpha-pinene (48.3%) and 1,8-cineole (10.3%) as major constituents.
