Özet

This article was originally published as it aimed to investigate the impact of body culture and body-oriented approaches on the art of acting from ancient Greece to the present day. In chapter one; Ancient Greece and the ideal body in Roman civilizations and the tragedya-comedy game genres required forms of acting; in the second part, under the authority of medieval Christian thought church games with the perception of the body, which takes shape and then differs with the Renaissance; in the third chapter, the awareness of healthy living and sports culture as a result of the Enlightenment acting approach in this period with the body developing within the framework, In the fourth chapter, the 20th-year-old Body culture and the search for acting created by the 19th century consumer society were mentioned. In the conclusion section, the findings collected were analyzed, the points at which body culture and acting art parallel are evaluated in the context of body-acting relationship.
