Abstract

© The Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology. This study investigated how communication students perceived the quality of instruction that they experienced in their four academic years at a faculty of communication sciences. The fourth year (senior) students responded to 10 questions during the interview about quality of the courses in conjunction with how much they learned in their 8 semesters at the school. The interviews were conducted with 53 students in a minimum of 30-minute, sessions during 2 weeks in total. Also, their cognitive styles were measured by the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) before the interviews. Finally the students’ responses were evaluated according to their cognitive styles.
