Abstract

Barba Srembergar Zupan was born in 1962 in Slovenia. Barba was brought up in a family that loves art. His mother turned to painting as a result of her interest in painting, but she did not receive art education. But she never stopped painting, every piece of paper she finds is like a canvas for her. Barba grew up under the influence of her mother's love for painting. Her mother constantly supports Barba in handicrafts and makes jewelry from metal wires. She makes ceramics with the clay giving by her mother, but she cannot fire her ceramics because they cannot find an kiln. But the irony is that when Barba decides to quit her job and become a ceramicist, her mother will be one of the first people to oppose her. She decides to become a swimmer in her secondary education. Thus this becomes Barba's first professional career. She continued swimming for 9 years and became the Balkan champion in 1977. After winning over 200 medals, she decided to quit swimming and study sociology. After attending school for two years, she leaves school to marry the man she loves and finds a job at a bank where she will work for 9 years.
