Abstract

Cancer is a fatal disease and cancer incidence is increasing from day to day. Thus, anticancer drugs are widely used and their analysis requires simple and effective analytical procedures. Thin layer chromatography (TLC) is a promising technique for drug analysis as a simple and versatile technique with low cost of analysis, minimal sample clean-up and high sample loading capacity. An extensive literature survey has been done and TLC techniques used for the analysis of anticancer agents in different matrices have been presented.
