ENERGY SOURCES PART A-RECOVERY UTILIZATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS, vol.33, no.5, pp.423-433, 2011 (SCI-Expanded)
In this study, first, the usability of clear sky radiation for predicting the average solar radiation, and the effect of geographical and meteorological parameters on the monthly mean global solar radiation in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan were investigated. A multiple linear regression was applied to nine geographical and meteorological datasets, which were monthly mean clear sky and extra terrestrial radiation, the ratio of bright sunshine hours today length, ambient and soil temperatures, humidity, sine of declination angle, the ratio of (H) over bar/(H) over bar (o), and (H) over bar/(H) over bar (c). The solar radiation estimated from the models was compared with the meteorological values by usingt-test and F-statistic, mean bias error, and root mean square error.
