Abstract

Phonological acquisition is an important area in language development. This paper reports the validity, reliability and standardization results of Turkish Articulation and Phonology Test, developed to identify and diagnose children who have articulation and phonological disorders. The participants of the study included 605 typically developing and 70 phonologically disordered children who were between 2-8 years. The results demonstrated that SST is a highly reliable and valid test for use with typically developing and articulation-phonologically disordered population.
