This study examines the increasing presence of Turkish migrants in Turkey. The research focuses on migrants who follow some type of higher education in Turkey. A comprehensive survey, targeting a diverse group of these students, was conducted to explore their motivations to study in Turkey as a destination to acquire higher education. The exploratory research was conducted through International Relations Offices throughout 210 universities in Turkey. The data analysed international student contentment with various aspects of their academic and social experiences and how they identify with challenges they encounter throughout society. The survey gathered demographic information, key factors influencing the immigrant students in pursuing higher education in Turkey. The findings suggest that academic quality, cultural familiarity, and financial aid opportunities are primary motivators. Additionally, this survey demonstrated the experiences related to cultural integration and social connections, as well as challenges such as language barriers and the complexities of navigating visa and residency procedures.
