The increasing pressures of climate change, resource depletion, and global consumption patterns have made the shift to sustainable economic methods necessary. The circular economy, which emphasizes resource reuse, recycling, and waste minimization, provides a compelling substitute for the conventional linear economy. Shifting from a linear to a circular economy could help reconcile the long-standing tension between environmental preservation and economic growth. However, questions remain about who will drive this change and how it will be implemented. This study examines the role of circular entrepreneurs in Türkiye, who are at the forefront of adopting circular business models. Through qualitative case studies, this study investigates five business models—circular inputs, product life extension, product-as-a-service, sharing platforms, and resource recovery—implemented by entrepreneurs across various industries. Although the literature on circular business models is growing, most of the existing studies have remained at the theoretical level or focused on developed economies. This study makes an empirical contribution to the literature by exploring how Turkish entrepreneurs interpret and apply circular business model typologies in the context of an emerging economy. Thus, a bridge is built between theoretical frameworks and entrepreneurs' practical applications.
