When we look at the employment of women employees and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector, we see significant differences in gender inequalities and entrepreneurial opportunities. This study aims to analyze the current state of women’s entrepreneurship and employment in the tourism sector and provide recommendations that can increase the representation of women in the sector and reduce the challenges they face in Türkiye. Based on a literature review, the study will evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and policies and existing support programs to strengthen the role of women in the tourism sector and reduce gender inequality.
