Abstract

Throughout the accomplished projects of Andres Segovia, the guitar gained its dignity as in the same level to the other western music instruments. Andres Segovia is the guitarist who established the new repertory, the pedagogical substructure and the popularity of modern guitar. He has changed guitar's fate by disconnect its bonds with 19th century Spanish guitar music and leading non-guitarist composers to compose and build a new repertory for guitar.
