Abstract
In this article, the contribution of two animated series, Cédric and Heidi, in French and German, to the development of empathy in children has been studied within the context of foreign language teaching. As a qualitative study, this research was conducted through document analysis, and the findings have been associated with the foreign language teaching process to provide practical suggestions for fostering empathy development at an early age.
