In this study, workshops, as a non-formal education practice, have been reviewed in terms of limitations, advantages, disadvantages, duration, issues, locations, participants and regulatory qualities. Examples from important events in Turkey were introduced, the importance of workshops in design education was addressed and the opinions of the trainers on this issue were included.
