Abstract

Microdistilled oil from fruits of Tordylium pustulosum (endemic) and T apulum were analyzed by GC/MS. Seven compounds representing 99.7% of the oil of T apulum and 19 compounds representing 97.2% of the oil of T pustulosum, were identified with octyl hexanoate (44.0% and 73.2%, respectively) as main constituent in both oils. Octyl octanoate (34.5%) was also a major constituent in the oil of T apulum.
