Abstract
Water-distilled essential oil from Ajuga bombycina, endemic in Turkey, was analyzed by GC/MS. Fifty-four compounds were characterized representing 96.2% of the oil with beta-pinene (28.2%), alpha-pinene (18.5%), germacrene D (8.5171), and beta-phellandrene + linionene (6.9%) as the major constituents.
