This article sheds light on the policies followed by Armenian religious and political representatives and their impacts during 1914 Majlis-i Mebusan elections. It is also important to depict the legal foundations of the elections and the relations between the Goverment/Party of Union and Progress (Ittihat and Terakki) and Armenian religious/party groups. Afterwards, this study evaluates the attitudes of Armenian leaders oriented the intervention of European governments to search for external debt and reform attempts planned to be carried out in eastern cities before 1914 elections. Moreover, the efforts by the Armenian groups to reach a consensus with Patriarchate during the period of elections are discussed in the process of 1915 deportation law on Armenian deputies.
