This paper identifies the influence of communication channels on destination choice by exploring the role of communication channels on student's information sources. In this research, a self-administered questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. Survey data were collected from samples of 289 undergraduate students in Turkey. The study reveals that there are no meaningful relationships between the information sources used in destination selection and variables as age. income, frequencies of magazines and newspaper readership, going to cinema, using Internet and duration of TV watching. However, there is an exception that there exists a significant difference between female and male respondents' use of information sources.
